Roasted Seaweed Avocado Toast
Gim is a roasted seaweed that is often brushed with sesame oil and salt. Available in large sheets.
Ingredients:
Serves 2-3
1 medium avocado, roughly cubed
5 grams Gim seaweed, crushed with your hands
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 tsp rice wine vinegar
Kosher salt
Black pepper, ground
3 slices, chewy bread, country style sour dough toasted
1 Tbl Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
½ lime, juiced
2 tsp Dashi granules
Chili oil for garnish
Directions:
Place the bred on a sheet pan and toast under the broiler until golden. Flip the bread and brush with. Olive oil and put back into the oven on broil until golden.
In a medium bowl, gently stir the avocado, half of the Gim seaweed, sesame oil, vinegar, lime juice salt and pepper. Mound atop the toasted bread and top with reserved Gim, dashi granules and chili oil. Cut into thirds and serve.
