WHO AM I?
I’m Lili Courtney, a Louisiana-based culinary instructor known as the “Queen of Condiments.” In fact, I had a condiment line of artisan salad dressings called Delightful Palate. But today, I spend my time teaching local cooking classes in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
I’ve been cooking for over 25 years. As a stay-at-home mom, I spent my free time taking cooking classes -- and today, I share what I know with you.
WHAT DO I DO?
I’m not your traditional cook. I go the trendy route in the kitchen and add a twist on seasonal recipes using fresh ingredients and popular techniques.
I’ll keep you updated on the best condiments, plus the latest products and cookbooks on the market. I’ll also teach you what to keep on-hand so you’re always prepped for that go-to meal.
I consider my classes “no pressure classes” -- meaning we might mess up and we might drink a little wine. But we always leave with good conversations and a good meal, plus new kitchen skills and new friends.
WHERE DO I DO IT?
You can find my classes mostly at Red Stick Spice in Baton Rouge or Simplee Gourmet in Covington and New Orleans. I also host a special “In The Neighborhood” cooking class in my home kitchen.
WHY DO I DO IT?
I want to give you confidence in the kitchen, so you can leave with the skills to execute the recipes in your own kitchen.
WHO ARE MY CLASSES FOR?
Anyone who wants to have fun in the kitchen -- whether you’re a beginner cook who’s ready to learn basic skills or a seasoned cook who’s looking to mix it up and take it to the next level.
Cooking classes make the perfect date night or girl’s night out. They’re even great for a night out alone or a corporate event.
