Dates Wrapped in Bacon
There is a category of tapas called “Pinchos” which means it has a pick or spike in it to hold it together. These tasty bites are a good addition to a cheese board.
Dates wrapped in Bacon
Ingredients:
14 Dates, pitted
7 Bacon Strips, cut in halves
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F/190°C.
Wrap each date in a half of the bacon strip and place onto a baking tray (lined with baking parchment paper). Secure each with a toothpick.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 12-15 minutes or until the bacon is cooked to your liking (just make sure not to burn the dates).
