Amaro Sour Cocktail
This cocktail is a collaboration with Amanda Howell, The Tipsy Librarian on Snackin’ live. It’s a must to buy Montenegro Amaro and Russell’s 10 yr. Reserve. The are a match that works perfectly in this cocktail.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz.Montenegro Amaro
3/4 oz Russell’s 10 Yr Reserve
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz honey syrup (2:1)
2-3 dashes Crude Sycophant Bitters
Fresh orange rind
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except orange rind, in shaker. Add one scoop of ice. Shake for 15 to 20 seconds. Strain over fresh ice. Express orange peel over drink. (Can be used as garnish or dehydrated orange slice can be used as garnish.)
